This real metal doorknocker attached to a box was found in a junk shop in the Modesto, CA area. Supposedly it was used by Avon managers to call the sales meeting to order. It is attached to a real doorbell to give the original "ding dong" ring from older Avon TV commercials. The owner is looking for information on this item.

The following info is listed: DOOR BELL - DOOR KNOCKER AWARDS 1979: Redwood box with brass Avon Calling door knocker on front, door bell on back side. Given to 5 managers in each division. CMV $75.
