This is in the Bud Hastings Avon encyclopedia 18th edition, on page 587:
AVON REPRESENTATIVE 1976 CHRISTMAS CARD
This comes in a white Avon Embossed box ( slightly yellowed with age) with a blue label on it. This is truly lovely. A stained glass 7" Christmas card that opens like a book, in good condition, not perfect. The designs are shades of blue, green, red, and pink. On the left side page of the opened book says California Perfume company, with flowers and a stained glass picture of the perfume company building. On the right side of the open book, is an victorian dressed women also in stained glass, in an oval glass window, with flowers around the window. Inside this glass card is a folded paper card printed on all four sides, first a lettter from the presdient of Avon at the time- It is a note to the representative, the second side- A history of the California Perfume co., a third side- History of the first Avon representative, and a fourth side- description of the art of stained glass. This is truly beautiful and historic vintage piece. Although the book price says CMV @ $10.00 I will leave this open to Best offer.
